Explore Our Programs Automotive Technology Students in the automotive technology program are given instruction in safety, tools and equipment, engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, brakes, steering and suspension, engine performance, air conditioning, and driveline service. Learn More Carpentry The Carpentry program is organized around the fabrication and construction of residential housing and related remodeling. Production work is an essential part of the carpentry trade program experience. Construction agreements are made with customers to build, renovate, remodel or extend structures. Learn More Culinary Arts Culinary Arts program are trained in all phases of the food service industry. Students take the hands-on” approach with their training through the use of fully stocked and operational commercial kitchens to produce food in large quantities, as well as smaller scale kitchens that train students on casual and fine Learn More Digital Media Digital Media Technology are introduced to basic concepts of video creation and production. Instruction is provided in Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Students are exposed to the basics of pre-production and post-production, as well as special effects creation. Learn More Electrical Electrical prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to install, operate, maintain, and repair electric apparatus and systems such as residential, commercial, and industrial electric-power, and DC and AC motors, controls and electrical distribution panels. Andy, from First Light Power explained how turbines powered by water, makes electricity. The plant, with input from Thomas Edison, was built on the Housatonic River in 1903. It was the largest power project of its kind at the time east of the Rocky Mountains.
